We are in the international week for the prevention of lead poisoning promoted by the World Health Organization. This year's theme is "End Childhood Lead Poisoning", and lead is a neurotoxin for the developing brain of children that globally affects the health of millions of children.
For this reason we wanted to prepare a webinar aimed at pediatricians, pediatric nurses and other maternal and child health professionals to raise more awareness about this heavy metal and its impact on pediatric health, and share the experience of a community intervention in a municipality of the Health Region of Girona.
In the webinar we will have the participation not only of the PEHSU, but also of the Public Health Agency of Catalonia and the Institute of Health Care. The activity will be freely accessible, free of charge and without prior registration at the following link.
