Pediatric Environmental Health Day

As part of its strategic plan, the PEHSU Garrotxa has developed different teaching activities focused mainly on the county to train and raise awareness of health professionals in the territory. The next step was to include a space that would cover the whole country, that would address the most current Catalan and global issues in SMAP and present experiences, review scientific evidence and draw up strategies and solutions that involve the different actors in the field. .

For the first time, in 2019 a conference was held in Catalonia that met these objectives. On March 15, 2019, the 1st Pediatric Environmental Health Conference took place in Olot (Girona). The Pediatric Environmental Health Day is an annual meeting for professionals in maternal and child health, care for children and adolescents, and the environment in general, open to all civil society, where they are exposed, they discuss and update knowledge and proposals for improvement on the influence of the environment on children's health.
